We are very proud that at the end of the HCC sustainable Schools Competition we finished in the top 6! As a reward, we will receive some seeds – what better way to start our journey?
For the competition, the World Warriors built a model showing improvements to make our school more sustainable. We will use the seeds to bring one idea to life by adding flower baskets to the school fence. The World Warriors are currently working on ways to have baskets, soil and seeds donated.
This will make the first sight of the school more appealing while plants help clean the air, improve our health, and reduce the effects of global warming by increasing the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere around the school.
We believe our little step is a significant contribution to help the world.
