Eco Council

Mr Jones and the Eco Council have been busy again this week watering the tomato plants, marrows and  flowers in this lovely hot weather!

Year 5 visit to the Tate Modern

As part of our Art curriculum Year 5 visited the Tate Modern on Wednesday. The children had the opportunity to explore the permanent collection displays and complete activities that encourage them to interact with different forms of art. A huge thank you to all the parent helpers we could not have done it without you.

Year 3 visit to Chiltern Open Air Museum

Year 3 had a fantastic time at the Chiltern Open Air  Museum on Thursday learning about the Stone Age and Iron Age.  Thank you to all the fantastic Parent helpers that came and supported us.

Games Day

Today we celebrated games day, the children showed excellent school values throughout the day  participating in a number of different games, the weather was fantastic and the children had a wonderful time.  It has been a lovely end to the first half of the summer term.

Military Child Celebration Afternoon!

Our Military children had a fantastic time at St. John’s Church of England School participating in some fun games and activities along with other Military children.

Mr Jones and the Eco Council had another busy lunchtime rebuilding the Bug Hotel. Many hands make light work!

Mr Jones and the Eco Council have been working hard this week planting tomato plants to see which year group can grow the most!  They have also planted the sunflowers and spruced up the pond! M

The children’s Sunflowers are growing taller, today they will be taking them home to look after at home where they will be measuring once a week and reporting back to us so we can keep a record of who’s grows the tallest.
